gabrieles passion for music began at a very early age, from piano to rock, blues to soul, funk to 80s … his evolving eclectic musical background provides him with the foundations for his productions now – heavily influenced with deep, house and acid-funk sounds.

bvdub and sofie loizou are two passioned artists who have a special collaboration on this southern outpost offshoot! sofie loizou is at the forefront of the electronic music scene in australia and brock van wey (bvdub)is one of america s most prolific electronical artists known for his excellent deep house and dubby techno releases! the ep is evocative and wistful, enveloping the listener in a dream state. the two made an equisite piece of lush ambient techno with vocals of the polish natalia grosiak (produced by polish sound artist dawid szczesny). the combination of natalia s enchanting vocals and exquisite textural sound beds creates a sublime experience of blissful melancholy. this is a highly limited run of only 200 copies... yeah we know.. it s crazy to have a bvdub collaboration this limited... but its just a fun project of southern outpost and friends! don t sleep

we have never done a project like this before where the artists choose all the remixers themselves. but for the crazy italoboyz album >bla bla bla< we found ourselves not really knowing what to do. so instead of forcing our own ideas for remixers we went back to the source and let the artists run wild on the a&r. marco and fede commissioned all the remixers themselves. the producers they chose are a very diverse bunch and the vinyl 12inch takes a sampling of the best material from two very big underground names. on the a-side das kraus duo turn it a super jackin yet also very haunting rendition of >oh mio dio.< it sounds like pitched up chicago house meets demon days. on the b-side old school master dandy jack turns in one of the oddest records ever on mothership with some unusual sound design, voices and semi-dischordant note runs. super weird for the super weird! whatever you think of this odd lot no one can deny these remixes definitely carry the indistinguishable mark of that ever so quirky duo, the italoboyz
